The largest ski center in South America. 19 km from San Carlos de Bariloche is the superb Mount Catedral, whose ski center is one of the most important in South America. Its name is due to the curious shape of its peaks, which resemble the typical silhouette of a gothic style cathedral.

The excursion starts in the center of the city and goes directly to the base of Cerro Catedral, which is located about 1000 meters above sea level. It does not offer any difficulty to cross it. The means of elevation ascend to almost 2000 meters above sea level. Once at the base, the alternatives are: to go up by chairlift or cable car to the summit or to go on quad rides to different viewpoints. Either of these two proposals are optional and offer views of unparalleled beauty. All along the mountain you will be able to enjoy the beautiful inns installed on its imposing slopes, with incredible views of the Nahuel Huapi and Gutiérrez lakes, the Andes Mountain Range, Mount Tronador, and the other surrounding hills.
